Abstract

The project is located on SR 203 at the crossing of Dry Creek in Wayne County, Georgia. The proposed project would replace the existing two-lane bridge with a slightly longer concrete bridge structure that is approximately 40-foot wide. The new bridge would accommodate two 12-foot travel lanes and two 10-foot shoulders. The proposed bridge would likely be constructed on an offset alignment with the proposed right-of-way width varying from 150 to 260 feet. During construction of the new bridge, traffic would remain on the existing bridge structure. The proposed project length is approximately 2,500 feet. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described above.
