Project Description: The proposed project would consist of overpass improvements and interchange modifications to the existing interchange of SR 1/US 27 with SR 166 in the City of Carrollton. The proposed project may involve widening each of the northbound and southbound bridges to add a left-turn lane. The existing bridges were constructed in 1977 and are of an undistinguished type with steel supports and concrete decks and substructures.
