The proposed project involves constructing a driveway with an associated deceleration lane and taper off SR 515 to serve the First United Methodist Church of Union County in Blairsville, Georgia. The church is located west of the intersection of SR 515 and US 19. The proposed deceleration lane would be approximately 250 feet and would taper back into SR 515 within 100 feet. The proposed project would include a curb cut on the west side of the proposed driveway that would tie into the existing SR 515 within 50 feet. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing right-of-way as described above.
