The project area is corridor approximately 2,240 feet (683 m) long and 120-150 feet (37 wide, extending northeast from Barrett Lakes Boulevard to the intersection of George Busbee farkway and existing Big Shanty Road. The corridor crosses 1-75. A previous archeological survey (Greenhouse Consultants 2005) surveyed a longer corridor at a width of 100 feet (31 m); the current survey is limited to the amended project area (Figure 1). Based on the nature of the undertaking and the highly developed conditions surrounding and within the project area, the APE for archeological resources was determined to have the same dimensions as the project area.
