Abstract

The proposed road project would consist of the widening of Cedarcrest Road from Karl Sanders Drive just inside of Paulding County to Governor's Towne Drive from two to four lanes. The existing roadway consists of one 11-foot travel lane in each direction with grassed shoulders varying from five to ten feet. The existing right-of-way width is 50 feet. The proposed typical section would consist of four 12-foot lanes, a 20-foot raised median, curb and gutter, 10-foot shoulders, and five-foot sidewalks along both sides of Cedarcrest Road. The proposed right-of-way width would be 100 feet. The total length of the proposed project would be approximately 0.75 mile.
