Proposed project BRZLB-009(5) in Baldwin County replace the narrow and structurally deficient bridge on CR 72/Pettigrew Road over Fishing Creek, approximately 6.0 miles west of Milledgeville. The proposed project would replace the existing 165 foot X 23.8 foot concrete and timber bridge structure with a 165 foot X 30 foot concrete bridge. The approaches would consist of two 10 foot travel lanes with 5 foot rural (grassed) shoulders. The existing right-of-way is approximately 50 feet and the additional required right of-way varies from 10 feet to 50 feet. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
