This project consists of a Phase I archaeological survey at the intersection of SR 93 and CR 85/Joyner Road in Grady County. The transportation project will construct a left turn lane in the southbound direction and a right turn lane in the north bound direction on SR 93 to increase safety at the intersection of Joyner Road. Project is located 1.2 miles south of Cairo, GA, in the 18th Land District, Land Lot 62, 63, 98, and 99, and in GA Militia District 753. In length, the proposed project begins at MP 10.48 and extends northward approximately 0.232 miles to MP 11.68. Existing ROW is 100 feet; 20 additional feet of ROW will be acquired along the west side of SR 93.
