Several Federal laws and regulations give the Marine Corps the authority and the responsibility to manage the historic resources on lands under its jurisdiction. To accomplish the primary management goals of identification and evaluation of the historic resources present at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Marine Corps Headquarters arranged to have the Mobile District, US Army Corps of Engineers historic resources staff survey (USACE 1990) the facility. That survey recommended one site as potentially eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. This report documents that evaluation of 9Du69.
