Abstract

Per our conversation, the 0.067 acres of property within the boundary of Moody AFB proposed to be obtained as a temporary easement during construction of Davidson Road was surveyed in 1996 by Panamerican Consultants, Inc. The final survey report is dated June 1996, and is titled: "Cultural Resources Survey, Grand Bay Ordnance Range, Moody Air Force Base, Lanier and Lowndes Counties, Georgia." No archeological resources were identified in or near the proposed 0.067 acre site, and the Georgia SHPO concurred with the findings of the survey on 26 June 1996. Since the survey was completed in 1996, this area has been developed and a new installation gate has been constructed on the site, with the entire 0.067 acres currently being completed covered in asphalt and concrete.
