Volunteering

The Laboratory welcomes undergraduate and graduate student volunteers from all disciplines. Anyone who is interested in Georgia's past can help preserve it by volunteering with us. We will educate and train you on best practices. Sign up to be a volunteer by completing an application.

Field Schools

Archaeology field schools provide students with an opportunity for experiential learning. Through on-site instruction in survey and excavation methods, material culture, and interpretation of finds, students learn about Archaeology in practice. Field schools can also be an opportunity for an interested non-archaeologist to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Stay up-to-date with upcoming field schools by following the Georgia Archaeology Field Schools Facebook Page!
