Raccoon Bluff lnvestigation
The Office of the State Archaeologist was asked to confirm the location of the Bessie Gardner property at Raccoon Bluff by DNR attorney John Walden. The investigation was considered to be due diligence on the part of DNR for a land deal under consideration between descendents of Gardner and two Macon businessmen, Mr. Hodges and Mr. Patterson. The two Macon men currently have a house in Hog Hammock.
