Abstract

The objective of this project was to conduct an archaeological survey of the areas to be impacted by the construction of a new Water Treatment Plant and Water Tank. The survey was conducted as an initial step in conjunction with the ongoing archaeological survey of the Darien Waterworks Improvements, under the provision of a contract signed October 5, 1977. Background research and archaeological survey was conducted by the undersigned. The field work was initiated and completed on October 6, 1977. Background research utilized historical and archaeological literature held in the SSI archaeological library.
