"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BRSLB-822 (1) , Floyd Co. , has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.
This is a bridge replacement on new location on John's Creek on Everett Springs Road. The project is 1250 feet long and will require a R/W of 100 feet. The new road and bridge will run just west of the existing facility and remove a small curve in the existing road.
