Project HHS-009- 2(47), Chatham County
This proposed project consist of widening the existing two lanes to provide two travel lanes and a continuous middle turn lane on S.R. 25 (U.S. 17) from Garrard Avenue Northeast to S. R. 26 Loop. The project also includes pavement markings, lighting, channelization, and geometric improvements and curb and gutter where specified. The total length of the project is 0.75 miles. This project has been field surveyed in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. No sites on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register were found within the area of the project.
