Archaeological Assessment of Project STP-M000-00(346), Decatur County, Milling, grooving and resurfacing 2 foot left and right along State Route 309, from the Florida State Line to just north of County Road 490 for a total length of 13.82 miles. The proposed project would consist of the reconstruction and paving of a 2' section of the existing shoulder and the leveling and resurfacing of SR 309 in Decatur County. The proposed project would begin at the Florida State line and would extend north towards Bainbridge where it would end just north of CR 490. The existing typical section consists of two 11' lanes with 6' grass shoulders on each side. The proposed project would be completed within the existing right-of-way, which is approximately 80'.
