Abstract

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project M-102(1), Dougherty, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NHRP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.

Plans indicate that Oakridge Drive in Albany will be widened from the existing two lane facility to 5 lanes, from approximately 750 feet west of the Oakridge Drive/ Old Pretoria fork east to 260 feet west of Wessttown Road. Required right-of-way for the project will be up to 35 feet north of the existing right-of-way and approximately 3-5 feet south of existing.
