Abstract

Under a March 17, 1988 contract between the Fisheries Management Section of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Archaeological Research Services of West Georgia College conducted a Phase II archaeological investigation of WGC1588 and three acres of land owned by Floyd County on the Coosa River. This land is leased to the Department of Natural Resources for the purpose of developing a public boat ramp.
