In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 the above project has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those which may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. The survey included a pedestrian survey by the GDOT Staff Archaeologist, as well as subsurface testing where appropriate. No significant archaeological remains were located. Therefore, the project will have no effect upon any site on or eligible to the NRHP.
