Abstract

M-4110(1), Bulloch County is the widening of a .2 mile section of Tillman Road in Statesboro. This section is located between State Routes 73 and 67. The present right-of-way is 50 feet wide but with the proposed work this will be increased to 100 feet. An archaeological survey is authorized by Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, though in this case, it is not necessary since the road is through urbanized section of Statesboro. Recent ground disturbances probably have destroyed any archaeological sites that may have formally existed. The existing right of way is 50 feet wide. The rights of way width required for the proposed construction is 100 feet.
