This project is to provide for improvement of left turn lanes & signalization at the intersection of S.R. 22 Spur at Avalon Road in Columbus. The purpose of the project is to Widen S.R. 22 on the north side, from the existing commercial drive opposite Avalon Road west 900' to provide four 12-foot lanes and a 12-foot left turn storage lane with taper. This will require additional right of way and extension of the 10'x10' culvert. The purpose of the project is also to resurface and restripe the section east of Avalon Road is to provide four 12-foot lanes and a 12-foot left turn storage lane with taper.
