Abstract

This proposed project consists of resurfacing two roads in Floyd County. P.I. M003455 is the leveling, resurfacing, and earth shoulder reconstruction of SR 100 beginning at SR 53 and ending at SR 20, a distance of 10.90 miles. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800. 16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
