The Pleasant Hill Road Widening at Chattahoochee River to McClure Bridge Road project is a Gwinnett County Department of Transportation project (P.I. No. F-0035) with the overall purpose of expanding the existing road to alleviate increased traffic flow. Pleasant Hill Road traffic flow issues are time-consuming and hazardous to drivers, prompting Gwinnett DOT to ameliorate the traffic conditions by adding additional lanes along Pleasant Hill Road. The location and proposed project design was approved by Gwinnett DOT on Sept. 9th 2005.
