Abstract

The proposed project would replace the existing two-lane bridge on State Route (SR) 376 over the Alapohoochee River between the towns of Statenville and Lake Park with a new bridge consisting of two 12-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders. The existing two-lane bridge is approximately 420 feet long with a total bridge deck width of approximately 25 feet, while the total bridge lane width is approximately 23.7 feet. The proposed bridge would be approximately 425 feet long wand the total deck width would be 43.25 feet. The existing roadway would be detoured in order to construct the proposed bridge in the same location as the existing bridge. Existing right-of-way (ROW) along SR 376 is 80 feet. The amount of required ROW necessary for project implementation is undetermined at this time.
