This is a bridge project, BRZLB-0047(1), located in Catoosa County. Survey techniques included visual inspection, pedestrian survey, and subsurface testing where necessary. The two asterisked (*) projects encountered archaeological material; these require further testing or excavation. All other projects are clear from an archaeological standpoint. There should be no direct impact on the State's cultural resources. The project is located on Chickamauga Creek on County Road 381 near Graysville, Georgia. The purpose of the project is to Construct 280' x 45' concrete bridge and approaches on new location. Existing 238' x 17' concrete bridge (Graysville Bridge) will be retained for inclusion on the National Register of Historical Places.
