Architectural recording of cultural properties GP-FL-5 (Structure A) and GP-FL-9 (Structures A, E and M) located in the Texas Valley community of Floyd County, Georgia, was conducted by the architectural firm of W. Lane Greene, Architect during the year 1980. This report supplements project drawings dated October 1, 1980, and will describe, by building elements, the documented evidence of the physical history and evolution of each of the four individual structures. It is not the purpose of this report to debate or disprove local oral historical accounts of the structures, but rather to report factual observations and draw conclusions only when such conclusions can be substantiated by recorded evidence.
