In the course of the past month, on-site archaeological monitoring comprised approximately ninety percent of the archaeologist's time. An additional ten percent consisted of historical research and report preparation.
The following is a brief area-by-area description of MARTA construction during the preceding month, and of any archaeological features uncovered through MARTA excavations. All archaeological features were recorded on feature forms, photographed and sampled, when possible. A detailed description of those features found is incorporated in Appendix A of this report.
