Abstract

This project proposes to extend State Route (SR) 382 to SR 515 on new location for 0.35 mile. SR 382 would begin on new location just west of SR 5, a roundabout would be installed where it crosses SR 5, just south of the existing intersection of SR 382 and SR 5 and would then travel in an easterly direction until It connects to SR 515. The project would consist of two 12-foot travel lanes with 10-foot shoulders. There would also be two 6.5-foot paved bike lanes designed within the 1 0-foot shoulders to accommodate bike traffic. The existing right-of-way (ROW) on SR 382 is 100 feet. The proposed ROW widths on SR 382 where widening will occur varies between 130 to 145 feet. Proposed ROW width on SR 382 along new alignment to the proposed roundabout is 180 feet. Proposed ROW widths along new alignment east of the proposed roundabout to SR 515 varies from 120 to 300 feet. The total project length is approximately 0.6 mile.
