Abstract

The proposed project would resurface and renovate an existing paved parking lot located in Clarkston, Georgia. The project area is within existing right-of-way limits and consists of approximately 2.2 acres. The parking lot is bound by Roland Street to the north, Rogers Street to the south, Hill Street to the west , and residential development to the east. The proposed project would occur within the existing limits of the parking lot and consist of resurfacing and restriping the parking lot, construction of landscape islands and plantings, construction of a bioretention basin on the south side of the parking lot parallel to Rogers Street, concrete sidewalks along Roland Street and between the bioretention basin and Rogers Street, and development of Hill Street as a pedestrian walkway with brick pavers on both sides of the road, tree plantings, and an 18 inch high seat wall.
