Original Project Description for Rays Road: The proposed project limits are from Memorial Drive to Multi-Use Path (approximately 200 feet south of E. Ponce De Leon Avenue) (1.36 miles). The proposed project along Rays Road Rays Road would add a five-foot wide sidewalk along the west side of the roadway for the entire length of the project corridor. The approximately 2,400 feet of four-foot wide sidewalk on the east side would be replaced with five-foot wide sidewalk to provide a continuous ADA path. The proposed right-of-way would be between 45 to 85 feet. Approximately 0.22 acre of right-of-way, 0.69 acre of temporary easement, and 0.02 of permanent easement would be required. Since the submittal of the original survey, the project length has decreased from 7,180 feet (1.36 miles) to 6,744 feet (1.27 miles) and the sidewalks have been relocated to the east side of Rays Road, as opposed to the west from the CE.
