Abstract

The Vann House, located at the intersection of SR225 and SR52 in Murray County, is currently undergoing maintenance and addition of a fire suppression system. Vann House staff contacted the Office of the State Archaeologist, housed in the Historic Preservation Division of Georgia Department of Natural Resources and scheduled archaeological monitoring of trenching for installation of a water line for the fire suppression system. The work was conducted on October 6, 2004. Based on archaeological monitoring, the work will have no effect on significant archaeological resources.
