This report documents the Phase I cultural resource survey of the tract slated for construction of upgrades to the existing sewage treatment plant for the City of Emerson in Bartow County, Georgia. The archaeological fieldwork was conducted on May 14, 1999, by TRC Garrow Associates, Inc. (TRC), for Sweitzer Engineering, Inc. The survey resulted in the identification of one archaeological site. This site is recommended as not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, and no further archaeological work is warranted.
