Abstract

Since approval of the AOE and CE, it has been determined that additional ROW would be required for the proposed project. In the southwest quadrant of the project corridor, along East Piedmont Road and Sandy Plains Road, approximately 16,296.33 square feet of ROW and approximately 19,657.60 square feet of easement would now be required. In the southeast quadrant of the project corridor, along East Piedmont Road and Sandy Plains Road, approximately 1,536.31 square feet of ROW and approximately 19,082 square feet of easement would now be required. In the northeast quadrant of the project corridor, along East Piedmont Road and Sandy Plains Road, approximately 5,918.87 square feet of ROW and approximately 8,028.00 square feet of easement would now be required. In the northwest quadrant of the project corridor, along East Piedmont Road and Sandy Plains Road, approximately 1,621.70 square feet of ROW and approximately 1,790.47 square feet of easement would now be required. No additional shovel testing was necessary. The additional ROW and easement fall within the 30 meter interval testing limit of the original survey. The additional ROW and easement along Sandy Plains Road north of East Piedmont Road is located within existing parking lots. The additional ROW and easement along Sandy Plains Road south of East Piedmont Road is located on a graded and eroded slope adjacent to a large parking lot for Sprayberry High School. The additional ROW and easement along East Piedmont Road east of Sandy Plains Road is located within existing parking lots. The additional ROW and easement along East Piedmont Road west of Sandy Plains Road is located on an eroded slope west of Sprayberry High School.
