Abstract

The proposed project consists of leveling, resurfacing and shoulder paving, 0.6 m (2 ft) left and right, of S.R. 168 beginning at the intersection of S.R. 11 in the city of Nashville (m.p. 0.00) and extending eastward to the intersection of S.R. 135 (m.p. 10.27). Existing right-of-way is 30.5 m (100 ft). No additional right-of-way would be required for the proposed project. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted for the entire 16.5 km (10.3 mi) project corridor. No existing or eligible National Register archaeological resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
