The proposed project is the identification of surplus property owned by the Georgia Department of Transportation that will be placed on the market by the Department's Right-of-Way Office, The surplus property is located in the southeast corner of US Highway 441 and Cedar Drive, Jackson County, Georgia (see attached location map). The parcel is approximately 0.05 acre. The parcel was surveyed by the Georgia Department of Transportation as part of the environmental review process of EDS-441(32) in 2001. Clearance of the area was concurred with by the State Historic Preservation Officer on February 12, 2001 (see attached clearance letter).
