Abstract

The proposed project would consist of road rehabilitation and widening along State Road (SR) 40 in Camden County between Mile Points 13.77 and 15.00. The project proposes to rehabilitate the existing roadway from Mile Point 13.77 to Mile Point 13.85. The remaining project area would widen the existing section between Mile Point 13.85 and Mile Point 15.00 to a four-lane divided urban section with a 14-foot, two-way left-turn lane. Five-foot sidewalks also are proposed on both sides of the road. The side streets at the intersection of North and South Grove Boulevard would be realigned to improve the geometrics. The project would be designed to incorporate a future 20 foot, raised median. The total project length is 1.23 miles. Existing right-of-way (ROW) is 79 feet. Proposed ROW would be 128 feet.
