Abstract

On October 13, 2005, TRC conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of 69-acre tract in Henry County, Georgia. The purpose of the work was to identify any archaeological sites on the property proposed for expansion of the J.P. Mosley Park. The expansion is on the west side of the existing park, north of Millers Mill Road. Background research determined that there are no previously recorded archaeological sites within a mile of the project tract. The field survey also identified no archaeological resources. Based on these results, TRC recommends that no further archaeological investigations are warranted in advance of construction.
