This project consists of the replacement of the SR 11/SR 49/US 41 SB bridge over Rocky Creek near the city of Macon, in Bibb County. The existing bridge measures approximately 102feet in length and the typical section consists of three 13-foot travel lanes. The typical section of the bridge will be maintained following replacement, but information regarding the proposed bridge length will be determined following a hydraulic study. No additional right-of-way (ROW) will be required for this project. It is possible that a small amount of easement for slope and construction will be required in the northwestern quadrant of the project area; this amount measures approximately 500 ft. in length and comprises approximately 0.33 acre.
