This letter serves as a report of the archaeological assessment of Wildwood Estates subdivision (Project# 77-02-01-07), Blackshear, Georgia. This assessment was conducted on March 25, 1977. Conditions for assessment were excellent. The subdivision area is approximately 30 acres of cleared fields . Inspection was by walk-over survey and surface collection. No subsurface testing was done since there were several trenches where the stratigraphy of the area could be observed.
