This project consists of the replacement of the bridge on SR 118 at Muckaloochee Creek near Smithville, in Lee County. The bridge would be replaced in its existing location, while utilizing an off-site detour. The proposed bridge will be 165 feet long, 43 feet wide, and consist of two 12-foot lanes with 8-foot shoulders. Additional right-of-way (ROW) will be required along both sides of the roadway, and the width of this ROW varies from 5 feet to a maximum of 40 feet on both sides of the corridor. Existing ROW is 80 feet. The approximate length of the project is 0.17 mile ("'900 feet).
