Abstract

Project SAPS-27(169) involves signalization improvements for twenty locations in the city of Americus. Improvements include upgrading of traffic signal heads, upgrading of poles and mast arms, installation of traffic loop detectors, and various other equipment upgrades. Existing right-of-way varies from approximately 30.5 m (100 ft) to 36.6 m (120 ft). All work is to be limited to the existing right-of-way. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed right-of-way was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor.
