The proposed project consists of the leveling and resurfacing of SR 49 in Sumter County. The project would begin at the Terrell County line (MP 0 . 00) . The project would end at approximately MP 13.44. Included in this project would be the construction of 0.60 m (2 ft) shoulders left and right along SR 49. Shoulder construction would be limited to the area between the intersection of SR 308 and the Terrell County line. No additional right-of-way would be required for the completion of the proposed project. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted along the entire project corridor.
