Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the realignment of the existing intersection of Glenridge Drive with SR 9/Roswell Road, which currently consists of a three-legged intersection with a substandard skew (see Figure 1. Project Location Map). The realigned intersection would create a four-legged intersection by aligning Glenridge Drive with a condominium complex driveway, which is currently located 60 feet to the north. The project would improve the intersection angle, reduce the potential for conflicts with the condominium complex driveway, and provide improved left-turn lanes for southbound and northbound traffic. Existing right-of-way (ROW) is 70 feet. Minor amounts of ROW would be required at various locations along the corridor; however, the exact amounts are not known at this time.
