Abstract

The proposed project consists of the construction of a southbound passing lane on SR 47 beginning just south of CR 46/Ridge Road and ending just north of the existing bridge over Keg Creek (MP 2.45 to MP 3.88). The proposed typical section consists of three 12-foot travel lanes, with 10-foot rural shoulders of which 4 feet on each side will be paved. Existing right-of-way varies from 100 to 150 feet. An additional 10-30 feet of right-of-way would be required for construction of this proposed project on the west side of SR 47.
