The proposed project consists of pavement rehabilitation on the section of State Route 219 from 10 feet north of SR 14 (MP 12.34) to 100 feet north of South Chilton Avenue (MP 14.25). The proposed work Includes milling, leveling, resurfacing, patching, restriping of existing or painting new roadway markings, and placement of raised pavement markers. Turnouts and flares will also be repaved. Additionally, the locations of nine (9) traffic loop detectors removed during the milling process will be reconstructed in their original locations, where practical, and ten (10) "'Type A" curb cut (wheelchair) ramps are to be constructed. Prior to resurfacing, the existing shoulders will be bladed to an elevation no lower than the existing pavement or shoulder, but this project will not include earth shoulder filling. No additional ROW or easement is required.
