Abstract

As part of a phase construct1on plan for the corridor improvements along the Johnson Ferry Road and Glen ridge Drive in the City of Sandy Springs, intersection improvements are proposed at the Sandy Springs Circle intersection with Johnson Ferry Road. The intersection improvements consist of the addition of turn lanes, installation of new traffic signals with pedestrian features, and curb and gutter and sidewalk on each side of the road. The existing right-of-way along Johnson Ferry Road varies between 50 feet and 80 feet, and the proposed right-of-way would be approximately 80 feet. Along Sandy Springs Circle, the existing four-lane section would be widened to a five-lane section through the intersection. The existing right-of-way •s approximately 75 feet, and the proposed right-of-way would be approximately 75 feet.
