The proposed project would consist of road maintenance activities along a 6.99 mile section of State Route (SR) 7 Business (BU) in Lowndes County from SR 7 to SR 7 (MP 0.00 – MP 6.99) (Figure 1). These maintenance activities include the installation of handicapped-accessible ramps, milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, and the installation of raised pavement markers. No work is proposed beyond 5 ft. of the existing edge of pavement. All work would occur along SR 7 BU within the existing right-of-way (ROW). Curb cuts are proposed at the locations shown in Figures 2a-b.
