This project would widen SR 96 and improve the 1-16 interchange from just south of the 1-16 interchange to just north. The proposed project includes replacing the bridge carrying SR 96 over 1-16 and widening the bridge from two to six lanes to accommodate the widening of SR 96. The proposed project is approximately 1.4 miles in length. It is linked environmentally to projects along SR 96, including P.l. Nos. 322470 and 322460.
