The proposed project would involve upgrading traffic signals and improving pedestrian facilities in compliance with Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements at the following five intersections in Oconee County: 1. State Route (SR) 15 at SR 24 Business/Barnett Shoals Road 2. SR 15 at SR 53 3. SR 15 at SR 24 4. SR 53 at Hog Mountain Road 5. SR 24 at New High Shoals Road Upgrades would consist of the replacement of the existing signal poles as well as the installation of conduits, cabinets, and pedestrian accommodations at each intersection.
