Abstract

The APE for the current addendum includes four segments of easement for construction of a multiuse trail for pedestrians and cyclists as described on a separate sheet.  A 100-foot expanded survey corridor (ESC) was also surveyed as stipulated in the Environmental Procedures Manual. The currently proposed addendum is 1.25 acres (54,450 square feet) of permanent easement and 2.17 acres (94,525.2 square feet) of temporary easement. The current survey area for this second addendum consists solely of easements within the parking lots and commercial property complexes immediately adjacent to Interstate North Circle, Interstate North Parkway, as well as a heavily developed environment associated with the Belmont Apartment Complex in the northeastern quadrant of the intersection of Leland Drive and Windy Hill Road. The current survey area also includes the terminus of Leland Drive, entailing the loading dock regions for Chemcore Industries, Inc., the American Tower Corporation, as well as an existing cell tower station. These easement regions are partially overlapped by the original survey conducted for the proposed multiuse trail (Woodliff 2012).
