Abstract

Addition of permanent easements to flatten slopes, for additional drainage, for the removal of a recently constructed wall and construction of slopes near Post Office Drive. The original survey corridor consisted of Snapfinger Rd. extending from Flat Shoals Parkway to Wesley Chapel Rd. located in the southeastern region of DeKalb County. The current survey is an addendum to this project, and was conducted to locate any archaeological resources which would be affected within the proposed easements. This project is an addendum to 3 previous reports. The initial report was submitted in 2001 and is on file at the Georgia Archaeological Site Files (GASF) #2051. An additional survey for an intersection improvement at Snapfinger and Lake Drive with various easements along the corridor was conducted in 2005. A third survey for the construction of Post Office Drive was conducted in 2007 and a Short Form was prepared.
